Summary

Experienced agentic engineer building a governed control plane for agentic software delivery—making AI-assisted development trustworthy through durable approvals, auditable runs, artifact/evidence capture, and policy-bound execution (tools, runtimes, MCP, deploy targets). 6+ years at Salesforce as VP/Principal Architect leading CRM architecture and chairing the C360 Availability Council; previously CTO at MapAnything (acquired by Salesforce).

Experience
Founder — Ascendant Ventures
Mar 2026 – Present
  • Building the enterprise control plane for governed agentic delivery: stage-based orchestration (Intake → Spec → Design → Build → QA → Release) with explicit gates and reviewable outputs.
  • Designed governance primitives: durable approvals (who/when/what), structured run history, and automatic artifact capture (diffs, tests, deploy logs, review notes).
  • Implemented runtime + deploy policy to constrain tools, MCP servers, and deployment targets by stage/team—giving operators visibility and predictable, safe execution.
  • Shipped V1 “New App Factory”: paste a spec → governed build + QA → deploy to Vercel (Supabase only when backend is needed); open-source core pipeline engine on GitHub.
  • Architected a hybrid model: hosted control plane + customer-run workers so repo access, secrets, and tools remain inside customer infrastructure boundaries.
VP / Principal Architect — Salesforce
May 2019 – Present
  • Chair, C360 Availability Council: drove centralized decision-making for availability objectives across CRM clouds; aligned SLOs, incident standards, reliability practices, and scalable operating strategy.
  • Led enterprise architecture for CRM (Sales, Service, Field Service), establishing cross-team patterns and governance for reliability, auditability, and operational readiness.
  • VP Engineering, Salesforce Maps: led platform execution through post-acquisition integration, translating product velocity into predictable operations.
Chief Technology Officer — MapAnything
Apr 2018 – May 2020
  • Owned technology strategy and delivery through acquisition; drove cloud-native platform delivery and operational maturity.
  • Previously VP of Cloud Infrastructure: architected and supported cloud platforms for MapAnything Live and MapAnything Data; leveraged serverless frameworks to improve efficiency, resilience, and cost posture.
Director of DevOps / Director of IT — Pull-A-Part
Dec 2013 – Mar 2015
  • Led CI/CD adoption (Jenkins/TeamCity/Octopus) and helped drive Agile/Kanban practice adoption across dev + infrastructure teams.
  • Stabilized directory services and network topology across 30+ locations via distributed AD DS over Meraki (MPLS); led data center migrations spanning private/public cloud providers.
  • Administered and maintained 30+ SQL Server instances in distributed and clustered environments; owned DR and operational execution.
Senior Technical Manager — CSI Laboratories
Oct 2007 – Dec 2013
  • Led development of multiple SaaS offerings in cancer diagnostics; owned system design plus supporting infrastructure.
  • Implemented HA virtualization (Hyper-V clusters) and P2V migration strategy using SCVMM.
